Wealth Shift Canada - Mapping What's Moving in Private Wealth
The Wealth Shift Studio, alongside a small group of partners, is convening an informal gathering in Toronto. We’re in a moment where a significant amount of wealth is in motion — through generational transfer, evolving client values, and increasing pressure to respond to complex global challenges. At the same time, many of the structures guiding capital today weren’t designed for what this moment is asking of us.
For those working within and alongside the private wealth system — investors, advisors, family offices, wealth holders, and impact creators — this presents a real opportunity. Not just to move more capital, but to move it differently.
Across the ecosystem, there is already meaningful innovation underway — new approaches, new structures, new ways of thinking about risk, return, and impact. But much of this work is still happening in pockets. We don’t always see each other, and we’re not yet operating as a coordinated system.
We hope this gathering can begin to change that. We're bringing together a curated group of peers from across the private wealth and innovative finance landscape to step back, look at the system as a whole, and explore where there are real opportunities to align efforts, unlock capital, and accelerate what's already emerging.
It's an informal space to:
Hear perspectives from across the room on where the openings for shift are right now
Surface the work already happening, build a shared picture, and find ways to connect and collaborate.
A highlight of the session will be Dr, Astrid Scholz who is one of the leads for the global Wealth Hackers Initiative — sharing insights from across an international network of innovators working to reimagine how wealth is structured, advised, and deployed. We’ll also hear directly from others in the room who are actively building and testing new approaches.
This is not a conference. It’s a working design session for those working within the private wealth ecosystem. If you’re navigating how to evolve your practice, your portfolio, or your role within this system — or are interested in moving capital in a more coordinated way, we would love for you to be with us.
