Robotics club with Senseglove
Hello everyone! Robotics Club Amsterdam, Second Speaker Announcement!
We’re excited to welcome our next speaker from SenseGlove. Here’s a short introduction from him: I’m Akshay, a Robotics Engineer and Project Manager at SenseGlove, where we develop haptic gloves and advanced haptic interfaces for XR and robotic applications. My work focuses on teleoperation, human-in-the-loop systems, and how physical interaction data can be used to train robots. During the session, I’ll highlight our latest telerobotic glove, the R1, currently the only active force-feedback exoskeleton glove on the market designed specifically for teleoperation and imitation learning. I’ll discuss training from two perspectives: training humans in immersive environments, and more importantly, training robots through imitation learning. I’ll show how active force-feedback systems enable high-fidelity teleoperation and generate high-quality datasets for imitation learning, particularly in high-mix, low-volume manipulation tasks.
Because the robotics club event coincides with Deltaquad 's monthly drinks everyone is invited to come early (from 17:30) to join and mingle. There will be drinks and food. The presentation will start at 19:00
Becasue Deltaquad is hosting we ask our guest to bring an ID with them so we can check agains the registrations.
