The Empathy Project — Screening & Conversation
The Empathy Project — Screening & Conversation
Hosted by The Empathy Project × The Green Londoner
Saturday 28 November 2026 · 3–6pm
The Masbro Centre, 87 Masbro Road, London W14 0LR
What moves someone from caring about animals to taking action—and how can the food we share become part of that change?
Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of film, conversation and delicious plant-based cakes, exploring empathy, our relationships with animals and the everyday choices that can make a difference.
We’ll screen The Empathy Project, a documentary directed by Tristan Copley-Smith that follows twelve people’s personal journeys into animal advocacy.
Afterwards, Bel Jacobs, founder of The Empathy Project, will join nutritional therapist and plant-based chef Linda North, founder of The Green Nut Community CIC, and vegan chef Georgia Tann-Farr for a conversation moderated by Gautier Houel, founder of The Green Londoner.
Together, we’ll explore the connections between animal welfare, nature, climate and food, with practical ideas for bringing more tasty, nutritious plant-based meals into everyday life.
Whether you’re coming with family or friends, already involved in animal advocacy or simply curious, you’re very welcome. You don’t need to be vegan to join the conversation.
Delicious plant-based cakes from Yellow Kitchen, tea and coffee are included in every ticket. Under-16s attend free.

Meet Linda North & Georgia Tann-Farr
Linda North is a nutritional therapist, plant-based chef and founder of The Green Nut Community CIC in Sutton. Working with councils, schools and the NHS, the CIC offers cooking classes and wellbeing workshops that help people eat well, build skills and connect. Originally from the Czech Republic, Linda brings a love of nature, foraging and fermentation, alongside a passion for making healthy, plant-based cooking practical and enjoyable.
Georgia Tann-Farr is a self-taught plant-based chef who caters for small events and retreats. Her meals are made with love, bringing people together around beautiful, nutritious and—most importantly—tasty food.
