SPELL/CRAFT: Spring - A CoQuest Side Quest ⛵️

​SPELL/CRAFT is a practice of re-centring ritual in chaotic modern life, and a recognition of art itself as magical practice. Led by Kit and Sage of Spinster & Hag, we seek to anchor ourselves within the greater cycles of Earth and Sky through physical crafting, symbolic spellwork, and communal reflection.

​5:30-5:50: Introductions and an explanation of the themes of the current season and astrological moments 

​5:50-6:30: Reflection and collective clearing spell- fire as release (personal and societal)

​6:30-8:10: Inspired by the motif of the phoenix and traditional spring equinox practices, we will be decorating paper maché egg sculptures using two-dimensional and three-dimensional materials

​8:10-8:30: Sharing and closing

All supplies provided, though if there's something in particular you'd like to include in either the burning or crafting element, you're welcome to bring along!

​​This event is part of the larger CoQuest Art Festival & Forum, a week of gatherings exploring creativity, collaboration, and new ways to support local artists.

​​CoQuest brings together artists, makers, organizers, and community members through showcases, discussions, and collaborative experiences designed to strengthen the local creative ecosystem.

​​Side Quests are community-run events and workshops within the festival, smaller gatherings where attendees can learn from and connect with other local creatives.
