About Event
Who gets to own the energy transition?
Our Grid, Our Future follows Allie and Sonia to Northern Ontario, where a cooperatively owned solar farm has been quietly sending power to the grid for more than a decade. The film asks what changes when communities don’t just host renewable energy projects; they own them.
It’s about solar, yes. But also local wealth, rural communities, and who gets a stake in the infrastructure shaping our future.
Catch the campus screening on October 20th in room 202 of the University Centre. Watch the trailer here.
