About the Event
Second Life for Images: Reworking Unfinished Images is a hands-on workshop exploring how AI can rescue, restore, and reimagine unsatisfactory or abandoned photographs.
Participants will be introduced to and use Fotor AI to repair damaged images, retouch imperfect shots, and experiment with AI-driven enhancements, while gaining insight into how AI is shaping today’s fashion and creative photography industries.
This workshop invites photographers and creatives to rethink their archives, challenge traditional workflows, and discover new creative possibilities through AI.

👥 Judges
Adrian, co-founder of The Shoreditch Academy of Image Making, has been in the photography industry since 1969, working with major international brands and publishing widely around the world. He spent over 30 years as a Senior Lecturer and Course Director at University of the Arts London, where he developed postgraduate courses including an MA in Commercial Photography. He now focuses on advancing SAIM after retiring from academia.
Ian Jacko Jackson, co-founder of The Shoreditch Academy of Image Making, is a professional photographer specialising in alternative photographic processes and Cibachrome printing. He is also the founder and creative lead of SAIM’s Darkroom in Shoreditch.
