Ecological Citizens - Screening & Discussion
For our final STEPS Collective event of the year, we will be hosting a screening of the Ecological Citizen(s) film, as the RCA research project comes to a conclusion. Within the network we have had 29 national pilots, this short documentary created by Mind the Film, communicates a bigger vision and 7 of our projects. These are narratives of hope in contemporary times, where funding has been devolved to 'citizen(s)' with sustainable intent. The network not only catalysed responses but also 'created the conditions' for this typology of work, breaking boundaries and will (in 2027) publish its report. This film will be an indicator of what is to come and we hope will catalyse more of this working typology in a 'future mundane', where we all benefit society and the planet.
This will be held in the Gorvy Lecture Theatre in the Royal College of Art's Dyson Building, on the Battersea Campus.
There will be a screening that starts at 18:30, a discussion afterwards, and then an optional trip to the pub over the road.
More details soon, but putting this up so you can hold the date.
**Please only reserve a ticket if you can attend and will do so; there will be quite a strong demand we think, and want to offer priority to those who are definitely coming so they can make plans.**
