​Join us for a fireside chat with Arya Grayeli, the co-founder and Chief Scientist of Sapien. Sapien builds Al systems that are running finances and operations across traditional businesses—from manufacturers and pizza chains to software companies and the Fortune 500. They’ve raised $15M+ from General Catalyst, Neo, and angels from OpenAl, Google, Microsoft, Ramp, and Stripe (most recently in an unannounced round valuing the company at $180M+), and are expanding quickly across engineering, research, product, sales, operations, and more.

​A former Turing scholar, Arya has published multiple papers at top ML conferences like NeurIPS, ICLR, and ICML, but then decided to drop out after sophomore year and start Sapien. Joined by Shrey Gupta, he’ll be discussing what founding a startup is like, why he decided to make this bet, and the nuances of building production-level AI systems in today’s world.
