Then we close with Pitches Get Stitches® — our signature format where a volunteer gets a randomly generated business name — think "Crypto-Enabled Cat Therapy" or "AI-Powered Origami" — and has to pitch it live in front of the room. The audience judges. The room erupts. The winner takes home the Pitches Get Stitches® trophy — the most coveted prize in startup comedy. It is not a term sheet. It is better.

​Do I need to be attending Charlotte Fintech Week?

​No. This is a standalone event open to everyone. Conference badge not required — just a ticket.

​What is Pitches Get Stitches®?

​A volunteer gets a randomly generated business name — something like "Crypto-Enabled Cat Therapy" or "AI-Powered Origami" — and pitches it live to the room. Improvisationally. In front of everyone. The audience judges. The winner takes home the Pitches Get Stitches® trophy. You do not have to get on stage — but once you see it, you will want to.

​Are drinks really included?

​Yes. Drinks and light bites are covered by your $26 ticket. No minimums. No bar tab at the end of the night.

​Is this 18+?

​Yes. Strictly 18 and over. Valid ID required at the door. No exceptions.

​Are tickets refundable?

​Non-refundable but transferable. Can't make it? Transfer your ticket — just reach out before the date.
