Workshop: Run your first growth design experiment
A hands-on workshop for product designers learning to bridge design and growth – learning to design and run experiments that connect your creative work to measurable business outcomes.
Workshop limited to 10 attendees.
What to expect
It's a live, practical workshop where we'll walk through how to design, run, and measure high-impact growth experiments in startup mode.
This is for product designers at small to mid-sized startups who want to make data-informed decisions but don't have the resources of big tech.
You'll learn a proven framework, see real case studies from my work, and leave with the tools to design and run your first growth experiment.
How it will run
I'll be your guide through this 90-min intensive session:
The framework
We'll cover the multi-step process for running lean growth experiments: from identifying problems to measuring impact.
Real example
I'll walk you through real experiments and examples — the problems faced, the hypothesis, what was built, how we measured it, and what we learned.
Design your experiment
Learn how to identify high-impact opportunities, form strong hypotheses, and prioritize what to test.
Hands-on work
We'll work through a live example together as a group, designing a growth experiment step-by-step. You'll see how to apply it in real-time and can follow along with your own product ideas.
Wrap-up
Key takeaways, Q&A, and your next steps to design and run your first experiment.
What you'll leave with
A clear framework to design your first growth experiment
An experiment template for future use
Real examples of growth design experiments
The confidence to start testing without perfect conditions
Recording of the full workshop for reference
Who this is for
Product designers who want to connect their work to metrics and business impact
PMs and founders at startups/scale-ups without big experimentation teams
Anyone building products who wants to test smarter, not just ship faster
Your facilitator
Tina Iurkova is a product designer with 5+ years of experience running product development and growth at nilo.
She's spent the last few years in the trenches of an early-stage startup that grew from 6+ people into the largest DACH market leader of mental health – wearing many hats, navigating startup ambiguity, and learning how to link creative decisions to business outcomes through story narratives and data.
She now teaches product designers and small teams how to run high-impact growth experiments without the resources of big tech.
