Climate Wins Within Reach: What Can Mayor Mamdani Do for NYC Now?

Topic 6 in "Affordability and Climate in NYC"

NYC Chief Climate Officer Louise Yeung joins us for a candid conversation about how NYC can address affordability and climate impacts, with a deeper dive on flooding.

Topic: What should Mayor Mamdani know about affordability & climate’s intersection? What are the quick wins?

Throughout the series (highlights here), we have heard from community leaders, homeowners, small business owners, researchers, and advocates on how climate impacts them, particularly flooding.  How it drives up costs for households, small businesses, and property owners. In our final session, we recap solutions we’ve heard throughout the series and identify those still needed but within our grasp.
