About Event
The Sisterhood Initiative (SI) at the University of Washington supports undergraduate women of color in navigating higher education through mentorship, identity development, and leadership. SI offers a model of success that centers students with underrepresented identities—such as second-generation, multiracial, and immigrant students—who often fall outside traditional retention efforts. This workshop highlights SI’s framework and invites participants to explore strategies that help underrepresented students thrive in higher education.
