WISE x Mudito: Zine-Making for Safer Spaces
What does it take to feel safe, and seen, in our everyday worlds?
In the ways we show care, claim space, and build it together.
Join Women in Safety and Ethics (WISE) and Mudito for a collective zine-making session on what it means to create safer, more accessible spaces, both online and off.
Inspired by #TextWhenYouGetHome, a global storytelling project reimagining safety and connection, this session invites you to slow down, reflect, and create. We will turn conversations into pages, part reflection, part collective action.
Why this session
Because safety is shaped by the cultures we build, in homes, streets, and online spaces alike. This is a moment to pause and think about how trust is built, boundaries held, and care made visible.
What to expect
• A short conversation on designing safety and access in everyday life
• Guided zine-making (no art skills needed!)
• Reflection and sharing circles
What to bring? Just yourself!
All materials will be provided, and a few prompts to get you started.
NOTE:
1) Participants are responsible for buying their own food and drinks.
2) Please let us know if you do not wish to be included in pictures we take at the event.
