Bikur Cholim: The Art of a Caring Visit
Join us for a webinar on understanding Bikur Cholim, visiting the sick, with Rabbi David Balto. This webinar is designed for anyone who is interested in learning more about Jewish death practices: Jews and those who love them as well as professionals that might be in the role of supporting Jewish families at the end of life.
Bikur cholim is the mitzvah of visiting, helping and praying for those who are ill. It is considered an aspect of g'milut chasadim, the giving of loving-kindness. This webinar explores various aspects and approaches to this important way of showing respect and kindness.
