워크숍 소개
Ana Bridgewater의 Designer Talk 다음 날, Ana와 함께 직접 소재를 만지고 형태를 만들어보는 워크숍입니다.
타피오카 펄, 참깨, 셀룰로오스 등을 섞어 만든 따뜻한 바이오 소재로 산호의 성장 방식에서 영감 받은 형태를 손으로 빚습니다. 참가자들은 Ana의 Biomaterial Ceramic Making 연구 방식을 따라 손의 압력과 움직임에 반응하는 유기적인 구조를 만들어갑니다.
경험이 없어도 참여 가능합니다. 모든 재료와 가마 소성이 포함되어 있으며, 영어 동시 통역이 함께 제공됩니다.
소성 후 작품은 은은하게 반투명해지며, 따뜻한 빛이 표면을 통과합니다.

완성 작품 수령: 워크숍 이후 작품은 가마 소성을 거치게 됩니다. 작품의 두께와 크기에 따라 건조 및 소성 기간이 달라지며, 보통 약 2주 정도 소요되지만 최대 4주까지 걸릴 수 있습니다.

About the Workshop
The day after her Designer Talk, Ana Bridgewater invites participants to work directly with the material alongside her.
Using a warm biomaterial mixture made from tapioca pearls, sesame seeds, cellulose, and other natural ingredients, participants will hand-build forms inspired by coral growth. Following Ana’s Biomaterial Ceramic Making approach, the workshop explores organic structures shaped through pressure, movement, and touch.
No prior experience is required. All materials and kiln firing are included, and English interpretation will be provided throughout the workshop.
After firing, the material becomes softly translucent, allowing warm amber light to pass through the surface of the piece.
What to expect:

About your finished piece: All works will be kiln-fired after the workshop. Drying and firing times vary depending on the thickness and scale of each piece — typically around 2 weeks, though some works may take up to 4 weeks.
Participants will be contacted as soon as their work is ready for pickup at Material Memory Studio. Shipping can also be arranged if pickup is not possible.
