The Sunday School: Housing & The American't Dream

​Since the 1600s there have been rich traditions of salons throughout Europe — public gatherings where communities could explore and wrestle with big new ideas in philosophy, psychology, and science.

​We long for a space like this in Grand Rapids; a place to gain a critical perspective, to better understand the forces shaping our world, to connect with good people, and maybe even hatch a few hope-filled schemes.

​The Sunday School is a quarterly salon series in Grand Rapids. At our first gathering, we'll explore the invisible rules that shape where we live and our daily patterns of living, commuting, working, shopping, saving, and ideas of success: Housing.
