1 Day Emergency First Aid At Work Training

​Arts Development Company are hosting a free 1 Day Emergency First Aid At Work Training session delivered by Aid Training on the 7th of May 2026

​Time : 9:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Dorchester Arts, Dorchester

​The course runs for six hours - plus additional time for lunch & tea breaks. Tea and coffee will be provided.

​What does the course cover?

• ​First Aid Priorities

• ​Managing Incidents

• ​Basic Life Support

• ​Examination of a Casualty

• ​Unconsciousness

• ​Control of Bleeding

• ​Burns and Scalds

• ​Regulations

• ​First Aid Kits

• ​Recording and Reporting

​Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the attendee, there is no final exam. Those attendees who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
