Darius has worked in oral health for over 30 years, starting at 18, selling gloves from his car trunk in South Central LA, building Darden Dental Supply to over $15M in annual revenue (exited to Benco), launching Pair Dental’s traveling specialist model, and helping scale Cloud Dentistry toward becoming the world’s largest dental staffing platform.
Through DDS Founders Fund, he is at the helm, investing in a broad range of technologies transforming dentistry: digital platforms, AI tools, automation, marketplace innovations, preventive & advanced diagnostics, and operational process improvements.
Having worked through the earlier regulatory and supply-chain phase and now the current high-growth tech phase, Darius has built thousands of relationships across practices, doctors, specialists, suppliers, and technology companies.
We are pleased to have Timothy O'Donnell, Limited Partner of the fund and world champion IRONMAN triathlete, as the featured speaker. Tim has multiple IRONMAN podium victories. He was the first American to break 8 hours at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona (7:59:40, 2nd overall in 2019). In 2021, he survived a windowmaker heart attack mid-race at Challenge Miami and still completed the event. As an iconic World Champion, Tim will share his story and his involvement with the fund.
