About the Event
We’re hosting our next VC Roundtable with Karthee Madasamy- Founding Managing Partner at MFV Partners.
Karthee invests in some of the most ambitious deep tech companies today, across robotics, quantum computing, energy, and AI.
This session is designed to be small, focused, and highly interactive giving founders direct access to an investor who has backed category-defining companies and spent over a decade investing globally.
If you’re building in frontier tech or thinking about how to position your company for deep tech investors this is a room worth being in.
What to Expect
We’ll start with an open session with Karthee Madasamy:
• What deep tech investors actually look for
• How frontier startups are evaluated early
• What makes a company fundable in robotics, AI, and quantum
• Lessons from investing across global markets
This will be a highly interactive session, with plenty of room for questions and discussion throughout.
Next, we’ll move into a private, members-only roundtable with Karthee.
A smaller group, deeper conversation, and more direct access for Venture Dock members.
We’ll close with open networking, where Karthee will rejoin the full group giving everyone a chance to connect more informally.
👋 Meet Karthee
Karthee is the Founding Managing Partner at MFV Partners, a Silicon Valley-based early-stage venture fund focused on deep tech.
He invests in companies solving complex technical problems across robotics, quantum computing, energy, and AI.
He represents investments in:
• PsiQuantum (Quantum Computing)
• Agility Robotics (Humanoid Robotics)
• Chef Robotics (Automation)
• Sun Mobility (EV Infrastructure)
He also founded Harper Court Ventures, a $25M pre-seed fund investing in deep tech startups from the University of Chicago ecosystem.
Previously, Karthee spent 11 years at Qualcomm Ventures as Corporate Vice President and Managing Director, leading investments across the US, Israel, and India.
His investments include:
• Waze (acquired by Google)
• MapMyIndia (NSE: MAPMYINDIA)
• Validity Sensors (acquired by Synaptics)
• BORQS (NASDAQ IPO)
Before investing, he held technical and product leadership roles in semiconductor and wireless startups in Silicon Valley.
Karthee holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a Kauffman Fellow.
