Practical Lessons on Copilot Assisted Coding for Internal Tools
Please join 25m Health for our Strategic Partner Coalition's next virtual workshop: a live working session for operators who want use AI coding tools to solve real internal workflow problems.
In this session, one of our SPC members will bring an actual internal operations problem. Ben Hackett, Co-Founder & CEO of Basalt, will work through it live and show attendees how coding copilots like Gemini CLI can solve that problem by building a lightweight internal tool.
Like our prior SPC workshops, this session is designed to be practical and interactive. We’ll start with a real workflow bottleneck, break it into a clear tool spec, and walk through how a team can use coding copilots to build and iterate on an initial solution. The goal is to give operators a more grounded understanding of what these tools can do today, where they are most useful, and how rapid prototyping can inform build vs. buy decisions.
What we’ll cover:
how to break down an internal ops problem into a clear workflow and tool spec
how coding copilots like Gemini CLI can help generate a first working version
how to iterate quickly with prompts, debugging, and workflow refinement
where these tools work well today and where they still fall short
best practices for setting up and leveraging coding assistants for non technical individuals
Attendees will leave with:
a clearer process for using coding copilots to prototype internal tools
a better framework for evaluating internal workflow opportunities
practical lessons they can bring back to their own organization
