Climate Investigation Cleanup: The E-Waste Escapee

​Climate Investigators, we need assistance with the file on the E-Waste Escapee - vapes that represent the ultimate climate conspiracy. These high-tech criminals combine destructive lithium mining, fossil fuel plastics, global manufacturing, and planned obsolescence all in one disposable package.

​This 2-hour investigation at Bluffer's Beach: 90 minutes collecting evidence from Toronto's most popular social beach (shoreline cleanup) plus 15 minutes connecting throwaway technology to the future of environmental challenges. You'll clean up the consequences of consumer trends while learning about the full lifecycle of disposable electronics.

​All investigation equipment will be provided. Community service hours available for student investigators.
