About Event

About this session
In a world already exceeding planetary limits, the question is no longer whether change is needed—but what will hold value in the future, and how today’s decisions can help shape it.

This exclusive conversation brings together asset owners, researchers from University of Oxford, and members of the Transition Valuation Project (TVP) to explore winnable strategies for reducing ecological overshoot while strengthening long-term value creation.

Grounded in emerging research, the session will examine how capital allocators make decisions, what information they rely on, and how valuation frameworks may need to evolve in a world defined by planetary constraints.

Participants will engage directly with leading thinkers and practitioners, including:
Mathis Wackernagel, Chair Transition Valuation Project (TVP) Steering Committee, Founder Global Footprint Network, 2024 Nobel Trust Sustainability Prize Winner, Skoll Foundation Fellow
Professor Alex Nicholls, Oxford Saïd Business School & Co-Founder of Skoll Centre
Philip Good, Head of Impact Methodology at EBRD
Sakis Kotsantonis, Co-Chair of the TVP Technical Expert Group, Founder RG Sciences

Together, the group will explore how to move from abstract ambition to practical action—identifying pathways that are not only necessary, but achievable. The session will also conclude with an early preview of the Transition Simulator executive education tool, offering a forward-looking lens on how value may shift under different transition scenarios.
