'Land Marks' Opening Art Party
SPUR PROJECTS is pleased to announce Land Marks, a group exhibition that brings together six Vancouver-based artists, ANGIE HEINTZ, MATHILDE ROHR, MINAHIL BUKHARI, RICHELLE GREABEIEL, SARAH DELANEY, SOPHENA KWON.
These artists examine how land is marked, measured, remembered, and transformed. Through sculptures and installations, the Artists use various fibres, clay, natural dyes to explore land marks as both an imprint and an anchor— a guide for human movement and a point of orientation. Their works reveal the traces left by bodies, tools, histories, and natural forces, and how these traces accumulate into the landmarks that guide, divide, and define our sense of place and cultivate narratives.
