About Event

Exclusively for Proptech Collective’s individual and company members. Join us here.

Once a month, we host a discussion with a senior real estate or proptech leader for an off-the-record style conversation. This is not a webinar. Space is limited to keep the group small and interactive.

This month, we are joined by a founder who has actually done it. Come with your camera on and be ready to jump in with questions about:

  • Scaling a team: Transitioning from real estate to tech & growing a team to 125 people.

  • B2B sales: Strategies for successfully selling technology into the real estate industry.

  • Raising capital & exiting: How he secured over $50M from top VCs and global real estate developers, and navigating a major acquisition.

  • The real journey: The unpolished, raw realities of being a founder.

  • Or whatever is on your mind!

Who we are talking to:

RIGGS KUBIAK is a commercial real estate technology founder, operator, and investor.

He began his career in institutional real estate, holding key roles at Ernst & Young, Granite Partners, and Tishman Speyer. Driven by the heavy inefficiencies he witnessed in the industry, Riggs co-founded Honest Buildings and served as its Founder and CEO. Under his leadership, the company scaled from an initial concept into a 125-person team, raised over $50 million from top-tier venture capitalists and global real estate developers, and managed tens of billions in capital projects.

In 2019, Honest Buildings was acquired by Procore Technologies (NYSE: PCOR), which went on to become one of the world’s largest construction technology companies. Today, Riggs partners with early-stage founders and leaders across industries, helping them navigate the realities of building with clarity, resilience, and integrity.

He is also the author of Earned: An Honest Look at Entrepreneurship—From Idea to Exit and Beyond, a book detailing the real, unpolished journey of building a startup. https://earned.vc/
