Whether this is your first buildathon or you are a seasoned rapid-builder - join us for a fast-paced buildathon where you'll go from idea to working prototype in just one evening! Whether you're interested in building AI-powered tools, data analysis pipelines, creative applications, or anything in between, this is your chance to experiment with Claude's capabilities and ship something real.
Who can join?
University of Oxford students:
With basic coding experience and your coding framework set up (i.e., minimal experience building). We will unfortunately not be able to help with environment setup - although there will be an event in the future for this!
From any discipline - we welcome engineers, social scientists, humanists, and everyone in between
Teams?
You can sign up as an individual, or as teams of up to 3 people
If you are signing up without a team but would like to be matched with others, we can facilitate team formation before the event!
What to bring:
Your laptop with your development environment ready
Ideas (or come ready to brainstorm!)
Energy and enthusiasm
Credits:
If you have already attended a CBC@Oxford event and signed up for free Claude Pro + $50 of API credits, you will need to keep these credits for the event if you'd like to use them!
New attendees: instructions for accessing credits will be shared before the event
