COP31 Climate Media Training
This year’s COP is an incredible opportunity to ensure that your messages and perspectives are represented in the media as the world’s largest climate conference receives attention. Join Youth Climate Collaborative (YCC) and Entertainment + Culture Pavilion for our Climate Media Training, where we'll help you strengthen how you use traditional and digital media to advance just climate action.
Last year, we hosted our first COP Media Training in Belém, and we're excited to bring it to Antalya this year. Our full-day program brings together climate communicators, creators, campaigners, storytellers, and media practitioners to learn, experiment, share ideas, and build connections. Throughout the day, we'll explore the tools, strategies, and creative approaches that can help us communicate climate issues in ways that cut through, connect with people, and inspire action.
Expect a mix of practical training, creative showcases, hands-on deep dives, and candid conversations with people working at the forefront of climate media and storytelling.
Intended Beneficiaries: Anyone of any age who wishes to use their voice and stories to influence policy change and shift culture. We aim to accept all registrants and will track who completes most of the training, which sessions are popular, etc.
