Future Diversity: From Antalya to Addis Ababa and Beyond:

A Coffee Ceremony & Interactive Roundtable on Futures Literacy, Biodiversity and Youth

What if there isn't one future, but many?

Join us in a circle, not on a stage, for three rounds of an Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Each cup opens a new conversation. We begin with SYMBIOTIC, an IKI-funded project, and how it mainstreams biodiversity into policy, investment and local communities. Then young leaders from Madagascar, Nepal, South Korea and Türkiye take the floor to imagine futures for people and nature, explore what connects Asia and Africa, and share their hopes for COP32.

To close, everyone in the room writes a message to COP32 on a handwoven Ethiopian cotton cloth. It will travel from Antalya to Addis Ababa, carrying our voices to the next COP.
