About Event

As climate-related risks become more immediate and costly, Earth observation, especially, satellite data, is increasingly used not to predict and monitor extreme events, understand exposure, model impacts and support decision making.

For the third edition of EO for Climate during NYC Climate Week, TerraWatch Space will bring together experts working across Earth observation, wildfire, agriculture, insurance and risk modelling to discuss how satellite data and geospatial intelligence are being used in practice.

Key Themes

  • Wildfire Risk – From fire detection to catastrophe modelling and infrastructure resilience

  • Agricultural Risk – From drought and crop stress to soil conditions and yield outputs

Who Should Attend

Insurers/reinsurers, banks/financial institutions, agriculture and food companies, utilities, researchers, policymakers and nonprofits.

Confirmed speakers include representatives from Guy Carpenter, Earth Fire Alliance, Swiss Re and NVIDIA, with more to be announced soon.
