About Event

Join us for a 1.5-hour walking tour along the Bay through some of San Francisco's newest parks, where resilient design is already being built. Led by staff from the Bay Conservation and Development Commission, the San Francisco Estuary Partnership, and Metropolitan Transportation Commission, this tour will take participants from China Basin Park to Mission Bay's Bayfront Park and finish at Crane Cove Park. These recently opened waterfront spaces feature elevated trail segments, adaptive infrastructure, and Water Trail access points designed to keep the public connected to the shoreline as seas rise.

Along the way, we'll explore how the Bay Trail and Water Trail, networks that connect millions of residents to the region's most valuable natural asset, are being reimagined. You'll hear from and be able to connect with the planners and practitioners working to keep our trails accessible, resilient, and equitable for generations to come.
