Longevity Escape Velocity @ Ârc Austin with Aubrey de Grey and David Wood
Every year, millions die prematurely around the world, and hundreds of millions more suffer – all from entirely preventable conditions. We lose billions of years of life, precious time, and human progress to a single insidious process: aging.
The good news? We don’t have to.
Is aging really addressable? Can it be stopped? Who fights this fight? How long will it take? How can you help?
Join the Longevity Escape Velocity (LEV) Foundation for the afternoon of talks, roundtables, and workshops featuring distinguished luminaries in the field, including:
Dr Aubrey de Grey - the godfather of longevity himself. Learn how and why defeating aging is possible, the current state of longevity science, and how a new approach to medicine and healthcare are transforming what it means to age. Finally, discover how you can get involved, and help us to reach longevity escape velocity.
David Wood - Executive Director of LEVF, he co-founded Symbian which was subsequently acquired by Nokia. Now a futurist speaker, analyst, and author of 12 books, he leads LEVF and London Futurists, exploring societal transformations driven by accelerating technology, focusing on transhumanism and the Singularity.
Guest speakers - to be announced.
We also will discuss the roles of AI, DeSci, and Crypto in fast-tracking us to reaching longevity escape velocity - including a special announcement!
Afternoon of Monday 3th March, Capital Factory, Austin, TX.
This single-day LEV Foundation event is part of a 3-day Ârc Summit, happening March 3-5th
