Clip Content is an event series for Senior-level Product Designers and above. It's a space for you to bring your experiences and talk about design and leadership topics away from the biases, pressures, and politics that shape how we think at work. Join us for honest and thoughtful conversations for all the stuff that happens outside the frame and leave the company biases at the door.
Clip Content #2: The Fork in the Road
Join us for an intimate night with fellow Senior-level and above Product Designers as well as other Senior+ IC and Leadership folks at Solidus Lab in Manhattan. We’re keeping attendance to a small group of guests so the night stays intimate, discussion-driven, and easy to actually connect in. If you can't make it, we ask that you update your RSVP accordingly.

💬 The Roundtable Format
Roundtables is a format built around small group discussion rather than presentations. The goal is to keep things relaxed, conversational, and genuine. We’re aiming to foster the kind of setting where people can share what they’re seeing, ask hard questions, and learn from each other.

At some point, our design career may stop rewarding our individual contributions and starts asking us to give it up in the name of growth. As designers, we know it's more complicated than that. Tonight we're talking about the fork in the road: what we gain, what we lose, and whether the choice was ever really ours to make in the first place.
Who We're Looking For
Admission to Clip Content events is curated and we are looking at the following criteria:
Industry representation - we want a diverse set of industry experience to come to together.
Folks with clear senior-level or above titles in Product Design or Research (and topic-dependent, we'd also accept folks with related careers including Product Management and Engineering).
If you do not have a senior-level or above title, we look to ensure at least 2-3 years of experience in Product Design and 3-4 years of professional working experience prior to Product Design
Interesting takes in the “hot takes/shower thoughts” comments
Note on Admission: We limit attendance to these events to allow for more intimate conversation so there will be times we just receive more qualified folks than we can accommodate.
