Signature Gathering at 'Days Like This' Dance Party at Lake Merritt in Oakland
Join us to start gathering signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
We will meet at 5pm near the corner of Lakeshore Ave. and El Embarcadero for a quick training and to hand out petition supplies. After that, we'll head out to start collecting signatures around Lake Merritt. This training also coincides with the 'Days Like This' dance party, where we've been invited to collect signatures.
To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, plan to meet at the event start time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones. Your RSVP is helpful either way.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you're under 18, let us know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!
