Yale INSPIRE: Jamey Gannon, Founder & Instructor, The AI Creative Director
Yale INSPIRE is a speaker series that brings visionary founders, innovators, and changemakers to campus for candid conversations about the moments that shaped their journeys. Go beyond the headlines to hear about the lessons, setbacks, breakthroughs, and bold decisions behind building what’s next.
Join us for a fireside chat with Jamey Gannon, brand designer and AI creative director working at the intersection of design, media, strategy, and generative AI. The conversation will be led by Design for America @ Yale, a student-led design and innovation club.
Jamey, self-taught and designing since she was 15, has built nearly a decade of solo practice into more than $1 million in freelance revenue across 60-plus startups in AI, wellness, direct-to-consumer, and tech. Alongside her design work, she reaches millions of creatives a month through her content, teaching them how to get better at generative AI, get ahead in their careers, and become better designers. Her course, The AI Creative Director, has taught over 300 students, and she has worked with brands like Google, Adobe, Flora, ElevenLabs, and Vercel on content, speaking, and internal training.
Drawing on nearly a decade of freelance experience, $1M+ in creative work, and collaborations with brands including Google, Adobe, and Vercel, Jamey will share how AI is reshaping creative careers—and how designers and entrepreneurs can stay ahead of the curve.
Light bites and networking to follow.
