About Event

Whether you are a newcomer or immigrant entrepreneur whose first language is not English, or a local entrepreneur who has been here for years, this workshop has something valuable for you.

Goal
To help participants confidently pitch their ideas, share their unique cultural business stories, and engage diverse audiences with clarity and impact.

What to Expect

  • Overcoming fear of public speaking: Confidence-building techniques, cultural small talk, body language (hands, legs, facial expressions, torso), and effective eye contact.

  • Voice techniques: Learn how to use volume, pitch, and pacing for clear and compelling communication.

  • KISS technique (Keep It Short & Simple): Master effective storytelling that resonates.

  • Guest speaker session: Hear insights and inspiration from successful immigrant/ethnocultural entrepreneur(s).
