Creatives in Control: How Design Leaders Use AI
Creatives in Control: Leading with AI
AI has changed how creative teams work. Exploring is faster, iterating is cheaper, and ideas that once took weeks can be tested in an afternoon. But the questions that matter most haven’t changed: what’s right for the brand, what’s worth making, and who makes the call. That part belongs to creatives, and we think it should stay that way.
We’re bringing together design leaders from Google, Meta and Magnific who are building AI products and using AI to do it. They’ll share how their teams work day to day, where AI has made the work better, and how they keep creative direction in their hands as the tools keep changing.
On the panel
Camila Luis, Creative Strategy & AI Content Creation, Google
Michal Vaško, Product Design Lead, AI-Powered Experiences, Meta
Bianka Simonidesova, Brand & Experience, Magnific
Each of them works where creativity and technology meet, in different measures. One shapes the content and stories brands tell, one designs the AI products people use every day, and one builds the brand experience around a creative platform. Together they show how creative technology has moved from a specialist corner to the center of how creative teams decide, build and lead.
The conversation will start with how AI fits into real workflows across brand, product and content, and how teams use the extra speed and volume to explore more ideas without losing what makes their work distinctive. From there, we’ll get into how creative and technical decisions are increasingly made together: who sets up the tools, who shapes the systems, and how leaders keep taste at the center as those roles blend. We’ll close with what they’d tell a team just getting started.
Who this is for
This evening is for design and creative leaders: heads of design, creative directors, brand leads, and the creative technologists building the workflows behind them. You’re probably already using AI in some way, and you’re working out how to bring it into your team in a way that makes the work better, not just faster. You might be excited, skeptical, or both. All of that belongs in the room.
Why we’re hosting it
At Magnific, we build AI tools for creatives, and we believe they should work for the people using them, not replace them. The best way we know to get that right is to listen to the leaders doing this work every day. This isn’t a product demo. It’s a space to compare notes, hear how teams at the top of the industry are adapting, and meet peers working through the same questions.
