Martyn's Law / The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025
What does the webinar cover?
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (aka ‘Martyn’s Law’) aims to improve security and preparedness against terrorism in the UK by requiring those responsible for qualifying premises and events to implement public protection measures. Our webinar will help you to understand the main requirements of this new piece of law, including its background, the differences between ‘Standard’ and ’Enhanced’ duty premises, who is responsible and how the law will be enforced.
Who should attend?
This webinar is ideal for anyone responsible for the safety, security, and legal compliance of public or commercial premises and events. Venue managers, event organisers, facilities or security managers, and health and safety professionals will gain a clear understanding of their responsibilities under Martyn’s Law and how to implement effective public protection measures in line with health and safety obligations.
Questions
There will be a 10 minute Q&A session at the end of the webinar. Please send your questions to [email protected] in advance of the webinar, as we will pick a handful to answer properly.
