ReSound : A sonic séance with Mauro ffortissimo
In this hour-long immersive experience, Mauro will transform the back room into a sonic portal — guiding you into deep meditation with his liberated piano, surrounded by candlelight.
Selected improvisers will be invited to join on the upright piano, weaving voices into the ceremonial whole.
The Piano Liberado conjures sounds from the furthest reaches of nature — whale song, wind through reeds, the resonance of deep water — drawing us back to our most intimate, primal selves. An upright piano freed from keyboard and hammer: played on bare strings with fish lines, cork mallets, magnets & rosin-dusted fingers.
