Earth Day Community Clean-up @Espoo
🌍 💚Earth Day is just around the corner! If you don’t any plans yet, don’t worry we got you!🤝
This April 25th (10:00–12:30), we’re excited to invite you to a Community Clean-Up in Espoo, co-organized together with Sustainability Community Finland, Helsinki Climate Hub, and the EU Climate Pact.
Clean up will take place in Matinkylä, more details will be provided on the week of the event!
As the snow melts across the Helsinki region, a hidden reality emerges, litter that has been buried all winter is now visible again. So let’s do something about it, together. 💚
What to expect:
✔️Open to everyone
✔️ Families, children & pets welcome
✔️ Trash bags provided (please bring your own gloves and a water bottle)
We will be walking at a leisurely pace, all levels welcome! Rain or shine, so dress accordingly.
Please bring your own gloves and a water bottle. We will provide bags and hopefully some equipment, but might not have enough for all.
If we have enough participants, we will split into several groups. Know an area that needs trash cleaning? Let us know!
