Materials Matter: Enhancing Domestic Metals Recovery

​This September during New York Climate Week, Closed Loop Partners’ Ventures team invites you to an intimate roundtable, convening leading voices across the metals management supply chain–from end users in the electronics and automotive industries, to scrap processors, smelters, and recyclers.  

​As the gap between domestic demand and supply for metals and critical minerals widens, cross-sector collaboration among innovators, end users, and suppliers is critical to keep secondary metals available for use in our supply chains. Geopolitical and economic uncertainty, and supply chain disruptions have further heightened our need for resilient, local supplies of critical metals and minerals.   

​This event will host an in-depth discussion on the surging need for domestically sourced metals for applications ranging from electronics and data centers, to renewable energy. We will explore how forward-thinking companies are sourcing more secondary metals domestically, spotlight emerging solutions that are improving how we recover materials for reuse and recycling, and share perspectives on how to make metals supply chains more resilient and local in the coming years.
