​CJ는 헬스케어, AI, SaaS, 관광 등 여러 분야에서 창업을 경험했으며, 마루360, 청년창업사관학교, 신용보증기금 Nest 등 국내 주요 스타트업 프로그램을 거쳤습니다. 현재는 PEN Ventures에서 크로스보더 담당자로 한국 기업의 해외진출과 해외 창업기업의 국내 진출을 돕고 있습니다. 액셀러레이터로서 미국 투자자, 주정부, 빅테크 기업들과 폭넓게 교류하고 있으며, 최근에는 로보틱스 스타트업의 300만 달러 투자 유치를 성공적으로 지원하는 등 한국 기업을 위한 투자 유치 기회를 만들어가고 있습니다.

​Kaila는 커리어 전반을 스타트업 생태계에서 쌓아왔고, 현재 Antler에서 미국 창업자 커뮤니티(U.S. Founder Community)를 이끌며 현지 생태계의 창업자 경험을 설계하고 있습니다. 72시간 해커톤부터 100명 규모의 데모데이, 6인 소규모 프라이빗 디너까지 200개가 넘는 테크 행사를 직접 호스팅하며 수천 명의 창업자가 자기소개하고 피칭하는 모습을 지켜봤습니다. 뉴욕에서 일했고 뉴저지에서 나고 자랐으며, 매년 서울을 찾고 있습니다.

​CJ and I met at the first Gamma founder event in Seoul about 3 years ago where he brought together Korean founders, investors, and operators who were early Gamma adopters. Everyone was introducing themselves, trading sales tips and trying to connect. We got to talking about how differently soft skills show up across cultures, and how rarely anyone actually teaches it.

​If you're building toward the US market, your product will get you the customer meeting. But the coffee chats before the meeting, the 30 second intro, the follow-up that feels natural instead of transactional, that's where trust actually gets built with customers and investors. And nobody hands you a playbook for it. So we made one.

​This is a talk and a workshop social being delivered in Korean and English.

​CJ is a serial founder with experience across Healthcare, AI, SaaS, and Tourism, and an alumnus of top Korean startup programs including Maru360, Youth Startup Academy, and Kodit Nest. He currently leads cross-border market entry at PEN Ventures, helping Korean companies expand overseas and helping overseas startups enter the Korean market. As an accelerator, he works closely with US investors, state governments, and Big Tech — most recently helping a robotics startup close a $3M round, opening up investment channels for Korean companies.

​Kaila has spent her entire career working in startups and now leads the U.S. Founder Community at Antler, designing the founder experience in the local ecosystems, which means she watched thousands of founders introduce and pitch themselves, hosted 200+ tech events from 72-hour hackathons to 100+ person demo days, to 6 person intimate dinners and knows exactly which intros people remember. She worked in NYC, was born and raised in New Jersey, and makes annual trips to Seoul.
