Description

In the fast-evolving world of energy, innovation determines who thrives and who fades. While some MNCs and startups have achieved remarkable breakthroughs, many others have struggled to scale or sustain their success.

This 2.5-hour interactive sustainability workshop helps you uncover what differentiates success from failure and how you can position your organization to lead the next wave of energy innovation.

In this session, participants will:

• Explore real-world examples of energy innovations that have succeeded and those that haven’t

• Understand key energy market trends and their implications for innovation strategies

• Learn practical frameworks to strategize, adapt, and thrive in the evolving energy landscape

Speaker bio

An expert in energy innovation for over 15 years, Sharon Goh received the “Sustainable Energy Outstanding Achiever GameChanger Award” in 2022 by Global Green Economic Council (GGEF) for championing sustainability in TotalEnergies. In her Innovation Management experience for TotalEnergies for over 8 years, she helped her affiliates in Asia Pacific and Middle East win 34 Global Innovation Awards. She also worked in Shell in the Netherlands and Singapore previously, working on global communications spanning across the energy value chain from oil and gas to renewables.

Since 2023, Sharon has also been shaping the next generation of innovators as a lecturer in Design Thinking and Product Development at the NUS Engineering Design & Innovation Centre, where she has taught over 200 Master’s students. Through partnerships with leading organizations such as LVMH, P&G, and the Singapore Environment Council, her students have developed more than 20 real-world innovation strategies — from rethinking flight emissions to creating circular economy solutions in everyday products.
