Beer And Bonsai
Join bonsai sensei Al Rivera for a hands-on Bonsai & Beer workshop at Angel City Brewery.
In this small-group session, you’ll learn the basics of bonsai styling while enjoying great beer. Each guest will work with their own Tiger Bark Ficus - a hardy and beautiful species that’s perfect for beginners.
During the workshop you will learn:
- How to trim and shape a bonsai
- Wiring techniques used to guide branch structure
- Basic bonsai care and maintenance
- Watering, light, and plant health basics
Each participant receives:
- A Tiger Bark Ficus bonsai
- Planted in a 6-inch ceramic pot
- Soil and wire
- Step-by-step instruction
Trees are approximately 1 foot tall, and you’ll leave with your own styled bonsai to take home.
No experience required.
