​Mike and Chara Smith are the co-founders of Smith & Diction, a Philadelphia-based branding and design studio that specializes in creating thoughtful identities for imaginative clients. Mike leads all things design at Smith & Diction, working both as creative director and a lead designer on every studio project. Chara, meanwhile, leads all the diction, crafting brand strategies, verbal identities, and brand messaging for Smith & Diction's wide range of clients. Smith & Diction is perhaps most well-known for their team's rebrand of Perplexity, and for sharing their live design files publicly on the internet.
