FoodHack Vienna: The Shape of Food to Come
Part of the Popchop Vienna Future Food Week.
How will we eat in ten years? Founders, researchers and investors discuss how our food and the systems behind it will change over the long run: which trends will last, where the money is going, and what will actually end up on our plates.
Whether you are building a food startup, doing research, investing, or simply care about where food is heading, this evening is for you.
On the panel
Dr. Philipp Lawrence Fuhrmann, Postdoc at the Institute of Food Science, BOKU. He researches food structure, texture and sensory perception, with a focus on plant-based products.
David Petuzzi, CEO of Revo Foods, the Vienna-based food tech company behind 3D-printed plant-based seafood.
Markus Linder, Founder & CEO of inoqo, the Vienna-based impact tech company making the climate and biodiversity footprint of food transparent for consumers and brands. Previously co-founder of Zoovu, and an early-stage impact investor.
Carina Roth, Partner at Fund F, the Vienna-based early-stage VC with a growing food tech portfolio.
Moderated by Bernhard Grabner and Gregor Tegl, FoodHack Vienna.
The evening
A 45-minute panel followed by Q&A with the room. As always at FoodHack, there is an optional 30-second pitch slot: launching something, hiring, or looking for your next role? Take the mic. Afterwards: drinks and time to talk.
