About Event

Re:Grow – Translating Experience into Skills for the Future of Work & Food is a focused session designed for women returning to work who want to explore careers in food tech and sustainability. Instead of generic “back-to-work” advice, Re:Grow provides actionable strategies for mapping existing skills to industry needs, leveraging AI tools for career readiness, and navigating pathways into one of the fastest-growing and most purpose-driven sectors.

    Surabhi is an Engineering Manager at foodpanda, where she currently leads the payment integrations team. She began her journey as a software developer and has progressed to a leadership role where she manages and coaches high-performing engineering teams. With over a decade of experience across startups and global companies in fintech and food tech, Surabhi is passionate about mentoring emerging developers, creating inclusive engineering teams, and supporting career switchers and those returning to the workforce. Her journey from individual contributor to engineering management at one of Asia's leading food delivery platforms allows her to share insights on skill translation, career progression, and building confidence especially in Singapore's growing food tech ecosystem.

  • Fiona Seng - Partnerships Lead, Trainocate
    Fiona is the Partnership Lead at Trainocate Singapore, where she spearheads strategic collaborations across government, industry, and education sectors to drive digital transformation and workforce development. She strongly believes in the power of community and collaboration and has built 2 impact communities for SE Asia - Scale Climate Action and Women in Climate. She is a passionate advocate for regenerative business and female entrepreneurship, and is an experienced startup advisor. She is originally from Sydney, Australia and has lived and worked in the US, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW) and is a Terra Climate Fellow.
