Switch League Kick-off
The Startup League Kick-off marks the beginning of a new competition designed for those who build every day, both inside and outside the office. Before the official league launch in September, we’re bringing together founders, teams and the wider community for a first gathering at Tapadinha, in a friendly tournament that sets the stage for something bigger.
More than just football, this moment is about creating connections between people who share the same pace, the same challenges and the same drive to build something from scratch. In a relaxed setting, but competitive enough that no one wants to lose, we’re kicking off a league that aims to follow the ecosystem throughout the year.
It’s also the first opportunity to introduce the concept behind the Startup League, explain how it will work, and bring onto the pitch the teams that will be part of this journey.
Because in the end, just like in startups, there are always two things that matter: who shows up to play, and who makes it to the final whistle. ⚽️

All players must register and write the name of their startup - if your startup doesn't have at least 7 players you'll be added to a mixed team of different startups.

O Kick-off da Liga das Startups marca o início de uma nova competição pensada para quem constrói todos os dias, dentro e fora do escritório. Antes do arranque oficial da liga em setembro, juntamos fundadores, equipas e comunidade para um primeiro encontro na Tapadinha, num torneio amigável que serve de ponto de partida para algo maior.
Mais do que futebol, este momento é sobre criar ligações entre pessoas que vivem o mesmo ritmo, os mesmos desafios e a mesma vontade de fazer crescer projetos do zero. Num ambiente descontraído, mas competitivo o suficiente para ninguém querer perder, damos o pontapé de saída a uma liga que quer acompanhar o ecossistema ao longo do ano.
É também a primeira oportunidade para apresentar o conceito da Liga das Startups, explicar como vai funcionar, e trazer para o campo as equipas que vão fazer parte desta jornada.
Porque no fim, tal como nas startups, há sempre duas coisas que contam: quem aparece para jogar e quem aguenta até ao apito final. ⚽️
