Product Design Night: Tour the Letterform Archive!
Join a small group of product designers for a private, curator-led tour of the Letterform Archive, hosted by Rivet.
The Letterform Archive (https://letterformarchive.org/) is an SF gem that holds over 100,000 items related to lettering, typography, calligraphy, and graphic design, spanning thousands of years of history.
We'll get hands on for our collections tour and get to touch and interact with all sorts of rare archival prints and materials. In fact, the Archive will curate a selection for us and our interests! It's going to be a great time.
Space is quite limited -- Please RSVP when you can, and be sure that you can actually make it when RSVPing yes!
About Rivet (https://rivet.design/):
Rivet helps product designers change any UI themselves. It's a bridge that lets you change running web applications using visual AI tools. Designers use Rivet to skip handoffs and make their app pixel-perfect themselves.
Logistics:
Timing: The tour starts at 6, so please get there early! I'd try to target 15 minutes early to give you enough time to get there and get in without worrying.
How to get in: Enter under the glass awning at 2325 Third Street and take the elevator to Floor 4R. I'll be outside to help people, but in case I'm not there, there's a callbox you may need to ring to get buzzed into the building.
