small business fair (dinner included)
Make friends who care about stuff at Soapbox Seattle, the city's most fun community space for climate action!
We're having a party for people who care about the planet. Same time, same place, every week. You're invited. Request a reparative ticket here if you need one.
Supporting local businesses within our communities is an important and powerful tool for making our city (and the world!) a better place.
Join us for an evening of exploring what it really means to "shop local" and hear directly from the business owners in our community.
Attending businesses include: Ojaswe, Armoire, Swoon City, PJ's, and Opalseed.
The plan:
6~7pm: eat plant-based dinner and yap
7-7:45pm: Q&A discussion with a panel of local business owners - the questions will be shaped by you!
7:45-8:45pm: small business fair - mingle as you browse their display tables and other Action Stations
8:45-9pm: continued mingling
Please try to arrive by 6:30pm so that you'll have time to grab dinner before the programming starts.
This space is hosted by Soapbox Project, a nonprofit that creates joyful community structures to heal our climate anxiety and loneliness through expertly facilitated connection, learning, and action activities. Find your place in the climate movement with our online and in-person community!
