This will be a social mixer introducing NISF members to the 9Zero space and its members! We will engage the 9Zero community in a discussion about their careers in climate and sustainability, reveal some of the challenges they have faced, and define what gives them the drive to continue striving for good.

Our panelists
Katharine Bierce is a cofounder of UChicago for Climate Action, a volunteer-run alumni group, and a consultant with Sangha Strategies LLC. Sangha Strategies provides marketing/communications, project management, and community engagement services to organizations seeking to make sustainable shifts happen. Having lived through climate-change related disasters such as Hurricane Sandy in New York and smoky air and orange skies in California, Katharine cares a lot about climate action. Prior to consulting, she worked in startups and Fortune 500 companies such as Salesforce. Katharine graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Psychology and holds PMP and Certified Scrum Master (agile) certifications.
Aimee Gotway Bailey is the founder and CEO of Rock Rabbit, an AI-powered platform to make it fast, easy and reliable to find and claim incentives, tax credits and subsidized financing for green home upgrades. She brings 14+ years of deep energy and building sector expertise, operating at the intersection of policy, technology and markets. Prior to her current role, Aimee held positions at National Grid Partners, Silicon Valley Clean Energy, and EDF. She started her career in energy at the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative.
