About Event

The Maritime dual-use Hackathon comes to San Francisco.

Following the first edition in Rome: 48 hours, 70+ participants including Italian Navy engineers, and five working prototypes for maritime defense and the protection of critical underwater infrastructure, the challenge crosses the Atlantic to the Bay Area's deep tech ecosystem!

Over 48 hours, engineers, founders, designers, and maritime domain experts will team up to build concrete solutions to real maritime security scenarios, we are interested in Software-defined vessels from maritime domain awareness to autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces.

What to expect:
• Challenges drawn from real operational scenarios [Potential tracks include: Smart Navigation, Predictive Maintenance, Automation]
• Mentors and judges from the defense innovation ecosystem, academia, and venture capital
• Prizes and follow-on opportunities for winning teams

No maritime background required, bring your skills and your drive to build. Come with a team or find one at the event.
